Hello, welcome to my personal page :)

Who Am I?

I’m Garrett Credi, a 3rd year PhD student advised by Prof. Mike Hill. I’m currently interested in stable equivariant/chromatic homotopy theory with a focus on methods of calculation, e.g. spectral sequences. I’m also quite interested in programming and software, and enjoy coding in languages like Python, C, or Rust (depending on the task).

Where Am I?

Currently I’m working on my doctoral degree at the University of Minnesota, Twin-Cities in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I previously attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where I got my Bachelors degree in Mathematics, as well as Minors in Computer Science and Creative Writing.

What Keeps Me Busy Currently?

Currently the most immediate projects on my plate are:

• Researching the André-Quillen Homology of Incomplete Augmented Tambara Functors, with applications towards distinguishing \(\mathcal{N}_\infty\) operads
• Implementing a program to automatically propogate differentials in the \(\tau\)-Bockstein Spectral Sequence for \(\mathbb{R}\)-motivic homotopy groups, joint with Dr. Eva Belmont and others see here
• Planning and designing teaching MATH 1271 Calculus I

I’m also in the process of deciding my dissertation topic and reading the ever-growing backlog of papers on my Zotero reading list.
